Men’s U.S. Navy Bomb Disposal Max Hare T Shirt

This super soft tee features a sublimated version of the classic cartoon created by Disney artists in 1942 for the U.S. Navy Bomb Disposal School. 

The school grounds comprised five acres of campus grounds and ten buildings rented from the university. The staff consisted of roughly 90 officers and enlisted men. In 1945, the mine and bomb disposal schools merged and were relocated to the U.S. Naval Recruiting Station at Belleview Annex in Washington, D.C.

 A patch featuring the design was also made. The patch was to be worn by men only while attending the school and was supposed to be removed from their uniform once they were posted to a unit.

This tee pays tribute to the brave men who paved the way.
